Intalio Releases First Zero Code BPMS; Intalio/BPMS 4.2 Brings Zero Code to Workflow Interfaces Using AJAX and SOA

Intalio, Inc., The Open Source BPMS Company, today announced the release of Intalio/BPMS 4.2, the first Business Process Management System to support Zero Code development for complex business processes that include Web Services orchestration and Web-based human workflow.

"This new release of our standards-based BPMS is the first to support our trademark Zero Code development approach for end-to-end processes, covering both back-end system transactions and front-end user interactions."

Intalio/BPMS 4.2 takes advantage of the latest Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) technologies to support the development of Web-based forms for human workflow. This new release adds a WYSIWYG form designer built as an Eclipse plug-in, and supports the graphical definition of complex pageflows, also known as guided procedures, making the development of multi-step workflow tasks a rather trivial exercise. It also provides easier deployment on top of the Apache Geronimo application server, as well as a new Web-based management console for system administrators.

Intalio also announced that over 1,500 individual organizations are now using Intalio/BPMS Community Edition, while 65 have subscribed to Intalio's training and support services to date. This sets the company on a clear path to becoming the market share leader for standards-based BPMS by the end of 2006.
