Rantiq Ties Social Networks Together
JavaScriptSearch Rantiq (www.rantiq.com), a social networking system, said it gives users a place to share all their social networking information in one profile. By allowing users to link out to other websites, Rantiq provides an outlet to view and organize one's online life in a single destination. Users can include links to all their social networking profiles, blogs, photos, videos, favorite websites, personal homepages, and more. "Today's internet users are a part of multiple social networks. Our goal is to provide people an outlet to share all aspects of their social networking activities," said Founder and CEO, Enoch Lee. "While most social networks focus on their own internal network of friends, Rantiq encourages users to engage in multiple external networks and share that information in their Rantiq profile." Rantiq has introduced new controls for social networking privacy and content creation. Up to 15 separate profile sections are configurable for privacy. Users apply these settings to their friends by creating a privacy group. When friends are put into these groups they can only see what their friend allows them to see. The profile sections are moved via a drag-and-drop interface, giving users the ability to create a customized profile. "By combining customization with advanced privacy options, users have complete control over their profile layout and their personal information," said Enoch Lee. |
