Leverage Software Expands Its Social Networking Functionality with Release of Version 5.3

Leverage Software, provider of enterprise social networking and online community solutions, released a new set of enhancements to its CustomerConnect and EventConnect products. The latest release adds significant enhancements for end-users and community managers, including improvements for enhanced collaboration, user interaction and adoption, reporting and moderation.

Community members may now connect with one another in real-time, through the Group Chat feature. The Integrated AJAX-based chat system requires no downloads or plug-ins of any kind.

Community administrators can better solicit and understand the opinions and ideas of their community members by creating and delivering opinion polls. Multiple polls may be activated at one time, and data is summarized in real-time. The real-time polling enables Leverage Software clients to better enable the voice of the customer.

The newly released features are additive to Leverage Software’s already robust social-networking and community platform which is powering the communities of more than 100 companies across technology, media and consumer industries. Features of the core platform include member profile space, online matchmaking and community visualization tools, ability to request introductions and set up meetings, robust groups functionality and threaded discussions, networking calendar functionality, email and RSS notifications, a collaborative space for document, photo and video file sharing, a targeted messaging platform and revenue-generating sponsorship engine, and robust customer analytics on the back-end.
