HTML ImageMapper 10 - AJAX released

Germany based alta4, a company that combines geographic information with internet services, announced the latest version of their HTML Image Mapper  software with Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) Support.

The company said HTML ImageMapper 10 - AJAX is based on web technologies like AJAX and DHTML and represents a jump in the development of the product. New features in the latest version include full screen maps, dynamic zoom, a powerful search function and the GPS PhotoMapper integration. The concept behind HTML ImageMapper: create fun to use, attractive online GIS (geographic information sytem) maps from GIS software products with only a few mouse clicks.

For the new version alta4 has implemented a new bug tracking system. The online documentation has been changed from static pfd format to a more dynamic wiki format..

User with HTML ImageMapper 9.2 maintenance contract will automatically receive the new HTML ImageMapper 10 - AJAX key code by email. Special pricing schemes are offered for schools and universities.
