SlickEdit Inc. Announces SlickEdit Plug-In v3.2 for Eclipse IDE

SlickEdit Inc., provider of advanced code editors, announced the release of SlickEdit Plug-in v3.2 for Eclipse. SlickEdit Inc. is an add-in provider member of the Eclipse Foundation. The Eclipse Foundation released v3.2 of the Eclipse Platform in June of 2006.


The SlickEdit Plug-in v3.2 for Eclipse allows developers to use the popular SlickEdit code editor as the default editor within Eclipse or any Eclipse based IDE. Providing the capability to develop in over 40 programming languages--including C/C++, Java, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, and XML--the SlickEdit Plug-in allows programmers to be more productive by enabling them to write code faster and more accurately.

The SlickEdit Plug-in provides a wide range of features for analyzing, working with, and improving the readability of code including:

-- Comment Wrapping

-- Comment Auto-generation

-- Regex Evaluator

-- Vim Emulation

-- Specify Tag Jump Order

-- Additional Quick Refactorings
