encouraged us to hold the event on a larger scale this time around,”
said Jawad Al Redha. “In the Digital Age, websites have emerged as a
key source of information and a platform for business transactions.
Aspects such as layout and user-friendliness of a website are all
crucial to projecting a positive image of the owning company. Through
the ‘UAE Web Awards’, we seek to provide participants an outlet for
creative expression and at the same time leverage the profile of the
event to bring attention to the importance of respecting Intellectual
Property Rights.”
Pierre Moukarzel, President of the Pan Arab Web Awards Committee, said,
“The ‘UAE Web Awards’ seeks to recognize excellence in web designing
and development by bringing together web design companies, freelancers
and web owners in a competition for the best website in each of the
designated categories. We expect this year’s award to draw wide
participation, and are confident this first-of-its-kind award will grow
to become one of the UAE’s premier web events.”
