Ajax Chats with ChatCreator

ChatCreator.com is a newly-launched website that creates personal chatrooms using Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (Ajax). It can be useful to people who want to chat online but do not have compatible instant messaging clients.

Visitors to the website can easily create a personal Ajax-powered page with an embedded chat interface.  All that is required is filling in a unique name for the new chat room.  The chat is automatically created at a URL with the following format: www.chatcreator.com/chatap/rooms/name-you-inserted.

The chat itself is simple to use: it allows visitors to select their own nickname and start/pause the chat session with the click of a button. The first big public chatrooms seem to indicate that ChatCreator can deal with large number of users without any problems.
