UIZE is a suite of JavaScript code libraries that helps web developers create more effective user interfaces in their Web content and Web-based applications and services.  The source is available for download, and there are many impressive examples of UIZE at work at http://www.tomkidding.com/uize/uize-js-api/index.html.

The examples include table sorting, different slide shows, a color picker, graph solutions, and more. The image transition effects are particularly well done.

UIZE philosophy is keeping application logic and presentation apart. From the project's website: "When working on the user interface for a project, graphic designers and HTML coders should not have to wrestle with complicated JavaScript code while they are making aesthetic choices. And the coders wiring up a Web-based application should not have to wrestle with dependencies on graphic/layout designers in order to make progress with developing functionality."

Usage is explained in brief on UIZE's website, and its creators promise more detailed documentation to be available soon.
