Netvibes, an Ajax-powered site that provides users with a personalized webpage, added a number of new modules to its list of neraly 80 existing features.  Netvibes combines  feeds from different sites into a personalized page for each user that can contain mail, news, pictures, and more.

The first new addition was the eBay module, which allows user to track eBay items they are interested in directly from the netvibes websites. Then a Digg module was included, making it possible to see the latest from the popular community news website.  The newest announced functionality is the addition of keyboard shortcuts that make navigating Netvibes easier.

An important change of somewhat greater scope is the lauch of Netvibes Ecosystem  (eco.netvibes.com) -- a directory of contents and services managed by Netvibes users. It enables anyone to easily create and share feeds, plug-insm and tabs. Items from the directory can be added to the Netvibes homepage. The directory can be browsed by item, tags and a search engine is also available. Netvibes ecosystem also offers access to Netvibes mini API, which  helps developers to create new modules.
