New Version of Magnolia CMS Features Ajax User Interface

The first beta of the Magnolia v3 Enterprise Content Management System has been released.  Community edition of the software is available for download free of charge at the producer's site at www.magnolia.info .

Magnolia's main new features include workflow, versioning, JSR-168 support, single-sign-on, scheduling (time-based content publishing), a new meta-template (simply create your custom layout directly in the browser) and a new Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (Ajax) interface.

The official pressrelease describes Magnolia as being "user-friendly, battle-tested, enterprise-ready and open-source." The software is available in more than 15 languages including Russian, Chinese, English, French, German and Spanish.

The CMS comes in three flavors: community edition, enterprise edition, and business process edition.  The enterprise and business editions are shipped with additional functionality and support.
