AJAX-Powered Website Netvibes Launches 1GB Storage Module

In what Netvibes calls "another move towards the web desktop", the popular site has added a web storage module to the its already impressive list of features.  The new module is a collaborative project with AJAX storage site box.net.  The announcement came from the Netvibes development blog.

With the new module netvibes.com users  have a 1 GB hard drive available all the time on their desktop. MP3s added can be played automatically by clicking on them.  Users access the box.net webdrive from the netvibes module, adding and deleting any files from there. Maximum file size is 10MB.

Currently netvibes.com offers a wide range of services, like syndicating news and blogs, adding to-do lists, shortcuts to Gmail and Yahoo Mail, and more.
