AIRApps.net Chooses INM as Strategic Development PartnerCompanies collaborate to build a custom eCommerce framework for Adobe AIR developers. October 1, 2007; 08:22 AM Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) October 1, 2007 -- Integration New Media, Inc. (INM), a leader in creating rich user experiences, announced today that AIRApps.net has chosen INM as its strategic development partner for the creation of two custom components for its new eCommerce Framework. These two components will allow Adobe AIR application developers to monetize their AIR applications by easily adding licensing and payment mechanisms. Adobe AIR is a cross-operating system application runtime that allows developers to use HTML/CSS, AJAX, Adobe Flash® and Adobe Flex™ to extend rich Internet applications (RIAs) to the desktop. AIRApps.net is a community-based website that celebrates this innovative software and provides developers with a host of services and resources that includes forums, chat rooms, news aggregation, free downloads and a number of productivity services. "This framework will be extremely beneficial for our members and will solve a critical question of how developers can protect and sell their applications," said Edward Mansouri, CEO and founder of AIRApps.net. "INM was the perfect partner to help us develop this." The AIRApps.net eCommerce framework is a turnkey solution that manages all of the critical details for selling software, including hacker protection, piracy protection, payments and more. Initially, the framework will target developers building applications with Flex Builder 3, with an expansion plan to also support Flash CS3, and then HTML/Javascript. INM is developing both a custom Flex plug-in that developers integrate into their project, and the associated payment widget that the plug-in injects into the final application. "We are extremely pleased to be working with AIRApps.net on this project," said Laurent Brigaut, director of research and development for INM. "There is a lot of synergy between our two companies and we see the potential for a long-term development relationship." A demo of the AIRApps.net eCommerce Framework is available from
October 1-3, 2007 at booth #36 of the Adobe MAX Show in Chicago, IL.
Also at the show, AIRApps will be seeking suggestions for its new name
with a goal of unveiling its new identity at the end of October.
