VoIP for SOA: Giving Voice to Enterprise 2.0 Web Services

AJAX developers will learn how to consume WSDLs to embed granular telephony functionality into their business applications, processes, Web services, and wikis – independent of the existing telephony infrastructure and without CTI expertise. Attendees will observe basic programming techniques, gain insight into best practices from businesses with full-scale implementations, and learn how developers have been able to create working prototypes within hours to speed management approval. Participants will also walk through the demonstration of a mashup combining telephony functionality with Salesforce.com to see how design principles apply to a real-world application.
