Unify Announces NXJ BPM Education Initiative for Russian UniversitiesAugust 16, 2007; 03:46 AM As part of the program, Unify provides professors with 20 educational development licenses of NXJ Enterprise, which includes BPM and AJAX user interface development for building SOA-based applications as well as technical support. Students use NXJ Enterprise to gain competence in BPM and SOA. The initiative also enables the universities to leverage the students’ learning and skills into consulting projects for local businesses as a part of the course. “With Russian universities graduating approximately 200,000 science and engineering students each year, we have a rich opportunity to evangelize BPM as a best practice and provide students with the software and hands-on training that will help further their career in IT as well as in management,” said Anatoly Belychook, president of Business Console, Unify’s distributor in Russia. “NXJ Enterprise enables students studying various BPM management disciplines to develop models of business processes without requiring them to be hard core software programmers while also delivering one of the best implementations of AJAX and SOA framework for Web services development.” Many BPM software products today require knowledge of low level programming and IT infrastructure and are difficult to install. Conversely, NXJ Enterprise is a robust BPM tool that enables users to graphically design the process flow and execute directly from the model visually and easily, delivering a learning environment that is practical without requiring a lot of hand coding. Additionally, with NXJ Enterprise all the technology components required, from the database to the Java software, are available from one installation CD. About Unify Unify enables Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) for global organizations to modernize mission critical applications while maximizing legacy investments throughout the enterprise. Our enterprise software portfolio enhances SOA environments by improving application time-to-market metrics, increasing collaboration and service-enabling legacy information. Headquartered in Sacramento, Calif., Unify has offices in Munich, Paris, London and Sydney. Visit www.unify.com |
