President of Americas Sales David Roberts will join a panel of
executives from other leading technology companies, including IBM,

Roberts and Websense Vice President of Marketing Leo Cole will deliver

methodologies to help build, grow and expand solution providers’
security portfolios and new ways for generating recurring revenue
opportunities.

Hat, Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas, “Defeating Web Browser Heap Spray
Attacks” – Websense Senior Security Researchers Stephan Chenette and
Moti Joseph will present a defensive response to the 2007 Black Hat
Europe presentation titled: "Heap Feng Shui in JavaScript," which
introduced a new technique for precise manipulation of the browser heap
layout using specific sequences of JavaScript allocations. The
researchers will provide an overview of "in the wild" heap spray
exploits and how Websense catches them, as well other zero day exploits
using an exploit-detection module. (Thursday, August 2, Caesars Palace,

Defcon,
The Riviera, Las Vegas “HoneyJax (AKA Web Security Monitoring and
Intelligence 2.0)”
Websense Vice President of Security Research Dan Hubbard will focus on
Web 2.0 threats. His session will provide examples and insights into
the problems of Web 2.0 and highlight the deployment of “HoneyJax”
within the operating environment as one way to assist in the
identification and tracking of misuse of Web 2.0 technologies.
