WebAssist's Free Extension for Dreamweaver Adds Mobile To Google Toolkit

Today, WebAssist announced the release of Dreamweaver Tools for Google 2.0, bringing advanced mobile functionality to small business owners and Web professionals. Dreamweaver Tools for Google, a free extension to Adobe Dreamweaver, makes it point-and-click easy to add Google Checkout, Google Maps and Google Search -- and, in the new version, Google Mobile -- to any website.

Dreamweaver Tools for Google provides separate wizards and point-and-click interfaces that guide users through every step of the process, making it easy to add the following:

• Mobile capabilities: Mobile News, Mobile Search, Mobile Map, Send to Phone and Click to Call features can be easily added to any Web page intended for mobile traffic. All of the Google Mobile implementations make it easy to add one-touch access keys to any function.
• eCommerce capabilities: A Google Checkout Add to Cart button can be simply added. Google Checkout works with Google's search advertising program, AdWords, to increase merchant sales and minimize their expenses throughout the online sales and marketing process.
• Mapping capabilities: With Dreamweaver Tools for Google, users can easily insert a Google Map into a Web page. Now small businesses have an easy way to visually display their locations in a map format online.
• Search capabilities: By inserting a Google Search component, users have access to powerful search capabilities that can include the entire Web, or be limited to the current site. Moreover, users can opt to enable Google SafeSearch to exclude web pages containing adult themed and explicit content.
