dynaTrace Diagnostics Integrated Into Borland Performance Testing Solution

dynaTrace software, the leader in deep performance diagnostics for heterogeneous Java/.NET enterprise applications, today announced a partnership with Borland Software Corporation, the global leader in Open Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and the integration of dynaTrace Diagnostics as an OEM component of the award-winning Borland SilkPerformer load and performance testing solution. The combined solution will provide an industry first end-to-end diagnostic capability designed to help customers rapidly and precisely pinpoint performance bottlenecks down to the offending line of code - even in high-scale load test scenarios. With this new tightly integrated solution, customers can proactively meet performance and scalability goals for heterogeneous enterprise applications while significantly reducing project cycle times through rapid resolution of performance bottlenecks.

Advanced technologies, frameworks and practices such as Ajax, Hibernate, SOA, and EAI enable engineers to create software applications rapidly in response to ever-increasing time-to-market pressures. However, these technologies may also introduce hidden complexity by hiding or abstracting their inner workings. This can contribute significantly to resource consumption and application performance - especially if these components are improperly implemented or misused. It enables customers to seamlessly connect quality assurance with development, avoid blame games, and reduce the time customers need to repair performance and stability issues by hours or even days.

While having just completed the general rollout, the solution has already garnered considerable praise from customers. Deutsche Angestellten-Krankenkasse (DAK), the 2^nd largest health insurance society in Germany with over 6.5 million insured, employs 300 people responsible for the smooth operation of over 900 servers and 14,000 employee clients.
