BAE Systems Leverages Vovici Feedback Solutions

May 16, 2007; 05:32 AM
Vovici (voh-VEE-see), the leading provider of Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM), online survey software tools and marketing research services, today announced that BAE Systems, a global defense and aerospace company, has leveraged its feedback solutions by integrating Vovici tools and processes into help desk operations, business intelligence processes and existing infrastructure. A long-term Vovici customer, BAE Systems is upgrading its existing feedback management solution to EFM Community, Vovici’s 100 percent web-based community management product. This tool will enable BAE Systems to collect actionable feedback from multiple sources, including IBM’s Maximo asset management solution.

EFM solutions are comprised of tools and services that enable the collection and management of feedback from customers, partners and employees to help shape organizational strategy. In addition to help desk process integration, EFM Community provides access to an online survey solution that BAE Systems can employ on an ad hoc basis to gain additional insight into the company’s business processes. EFM Community enables customers to broaden collaboration on the feedback process within their organization while controlling access to key respondent pools.

“As a key partner with defense communities, our company’s reputation is on the line with each customer and constituent interaction; changing feedback into actionable information is always a challenge for an organization our size,” said Dawn Allison of BAE Systems. “The Vovici solution has proven a critical component in making this a reality for BAE Systems because we’re ensuring that we deliver the highest level of service throughout our help desk operations and other key business processes.”

EFM Continuum addresses the entire range of feedback needs for a broad and diverse customer base across many industries. The solution was launched in early April and is currently available in a variety of customized formats. The new design includes pop-up modals and tab control metaphors to help users navigate a number of survey and feedback options. Additionally, the product has a .Net 2.0 framework backbone and includes Ajax controls, giving the web-based survey tools the feel and stability of a desktop-based program. Available application programming interfaces (APIs) and web services extend integration capabilities to any business process software solution.

“For years, large corporations like BAE Systems have sought EFM solutions that enable feedback collection, analysis and integration at a level that informs business strategy and drives value for the organization,” said Dean Wiltse, chief executive officer of Vovici. “We are proud of our longstanding relationship with BAE Systems and look forward to helping them continue to deliver on the promise of EFM across their organization.”

The EFM Continuum solution set has become the favorite of Fortune 500 testers in survey creation, campaign creation and mailing list development. For additional product information, visit www.vovici.com.
