LignUp Joins Voice With Rich Media at Mashup Camp 3

LignUp Corporation, a provider of converged communications solutions will be a featured presenter at Mashup Camp 3, January 17-18, 2007, and the associated Mashup University, January 15-16, 2007. Both events will be held at the Hotel@MIT in Cambridge, Mass. (Visit www.mashupcamp.com for details.)

LignUp will use the Mashup events to teach developers best practices in creating more personalized Web 2.0 experiences through mash-ups of voice and rich media. The company also will unveil two new voice-over-IP (VoIP) Web services: one for recording and another for simultaneously broadcasting via voice and SMS messaging.

Mashup University: “Voice and Rich Media Mash-ups”

LignUp will conduct a 30-minute class on how to quickly and easily integrate voice and rich media into any Web application or portal. Developers will learn how to create basic mash-ups in just minutes by simply consuming a wsdl and writing two lines of code. Sample Web services will highlight how compelling existing Web applications or portals can become after mashing up with the extensive voice functionality of a communications applications server.
