Ideo Technologies Releases SweetDEV RIA, an AJAX Widgets Library

Ideo Technologies, a leading provider of Web application development tools based on Java technology, announces the availability of SweetDEV RIA 1.0.

Focused exclusively on accelerating and simplifying the development of Rich Internet Applications for J2EE platforms, Ideo Technologies has developed SweetDEV RIA, a powerful Ajax-based tag library.

Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) is being heralded as the "preferred technology" by end users as it adds a 'desktop' feel which is missing in traditional web applications.

Very innovative Ajax widgets library

SweetDEV RIA is a set of advanced Ajax tags which helps developers build Rich GUI in a web application.

It permits fast development with widgets such as Datagrid, Combo multi-select, Virtual window, Click to open, Expand/Collapse, Excel export. More components like Treeview, Calendar, Menu, Tabsheet and more are planned for future releases.
