ClipSyndicate, the B2B source for premier video syndication, announced today the introduction of its new Web publishing platform designed specifically for Web publishers looking for the easiest way to integrate video on to their site. ClipSyndicate's publishing platform allows Web publishers to create and brand their own custom video channels, which will enhance their sites with compelling video from premium content providers. Web publishers also can take advantage of ClipSyndicate's SmartChannels(TM), a hands-free publishing option that automatically updates a Web publisher's site based on saved search parameters.

In a separate announcement, ClipSyndicate also announced an agreement with FOX Television Stations group to syndicate its news content to thousands of vertical Web sites in the ClipSyndicate Video Syndication Network. FOX Television Stations will provide ClipSyndicate's network of Web site editors and bloggers the ability to publish video news content culled from the largest markets in the U.S.

"ClipSyndicate is a winning proposition for Web publishers, television and video producers and advertisers," said Chris Shipley, executive producer of the DEMO conferences. "Web publishers get rich content to supplement their sites, content providers have new access to new audiences, and advertisers have new opportunities in an extremely valuable network. Everyone benefits from this syndication ecosystem."

"What we offer with ClipSyndicate, is a one-stop shop for Web publishers to create their own unique Slivercast channel for their users, from thousands of relevant premium video clips," said Sean Morgan, founder and CEO of ClipSyndicate. "ClipSyndicate's robust feature set makes it the essential video publishing tool for any publisher interested in providing the dynamic experience of video on their site."

After a simple sign-up, Web publishers can easily search and browse clips, then create and publish channels to their sites. With the introduction of SmartChannels, publishers can create their own customized search terms which they can use with an RSS reader to alert them to new content or publish a SmartChannel directly to their site which will automatically update content as it becomes available -- a hands-free publishing tool.

The new ClipPlayer features navigable channels of interesting, newsworthy clips. Additionally, ClipPlayer enables the organic sharing of video through simple publishing and sharing options directly from the player.
