Downloadable Slideshow Feature Announced by Phanfare

Online photo and video sharing service Phanfare (www.phanfare.com) announced today the availability of downloadable slideshows that can be easily viewed on any PC or Mac computer system.

“I like to think of this new feature as ‘Phanfare to Go’,” said Andrew Erlichson, Phanfare’s CEO. “For the first time, Phanfare customers are able to download a complete slideshow of their individual albums containing digital images, video clips and music to their computer for playing at a later time when their computer is not connected to the Internet. Now customers can share their favorite slideshows at a moment’s notice, wherever they may go, and it will appear as it does when viewed online.”

Downloadable through a Phanfare user’s online web album page, full musical slideshows containing digital image files and digital video files can be downloaded to any computer to be played offline anytime. These slideshows feature edge-to-edge images on a computer’s monitor and retain all of the Phanfare slideshow controls as seen when an album is viewed online. The slideshows are identical to Phanfare’s industry-leading online slideshows including transition effects, custom music and integrated video clips.

Phanfare’s downloadable Mac and PC client software provides Phanfare customers with the easiest way to protect and share photos and videos online. Phanfare’s downloadable organizer keeps web albums in synch in the background, while customers work. And its patent-pending upload process provides the fastest workflow on earth. Phanfare also offers MyPhanfare – a web-based Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) client that allows customers to use Phanfare’s sophisticated workflow solution to manage photos and videos right on the web from any online computer anywhere in the world.
