The Sant Corporation Announces Sant Suite 8

The Sant Corporation today announces the release of Sant Suite 8, the first product in the industry to utilize Web 2.0 technologies across an integrated suite of sales document automation applications. Sant Suite 8 includes powerful new capabilities to enhance functionality, workflow, performance, and the overall user experience. Customers have the option to purchase Sant Suite On-Premise and install the product in-house or subscribe to Sant Suite On-Demand and outsource the IT infrastructure. In either scenario, all end-user and administrative modules are accessed through a web browser without installing software on the desktop.

Sant Suite 8 is The Sant Corporation's first release that included customers as full design partners. "We determined the best ideas for the next generation of the product would come from professionals using it on a daily basis," said Lewie Miller, President, The Sant Corporation. "We engaged with customers through focus groups, surveys, and interaction with Sant personnel to identify and validate the required functionality to increase user effectiveness. This release was developed for the customers by the customers. It was released on schedule with an impeccable quality control report."

Sant Suite 8 leverages Web 2.0 technologies such as Ajax to optimize the user experience. These technologies advance the responsiveness of Sant Suite and minimize the frequency of page reloads in the browser. Additional new features in Sant Suite 8 include:

    - Flexible RFP Response Workflow - Users can open RFPs issued in
      Microsoft® Word or Excel, assign questions to co-workers, and answer
      questions from directly inside the Word or Excel file.  Users see the
      entire document, including other users' answers, and can quickly answer
      their assigned questions using a new toolbar.
    - Powerful Library Manager Module - The new wizard-based Library Manager
      provides an intuitive interface to create and manage complex document
      structures and content.  The Library Manager replaces the previous
      Library Editor and Library Architect modules.
    - Database Indexing and "Google-like" Searches - Content loaded into the
      Sant Suite database is automatically indexed, providing users with rapid
      and accurate search results.
    - Reporting and Tracking Enhancements - The revamped Reports module now
      includes 50 additional standard reports and Crystal Reports®
      integration support.
    - Enterprise-Strength Security - New capabilities advance the creation and
      management of users, security permissions, and user roles.  User
      management for global, multi-division implementations is now more
      refined and powerful.
    - Redesigned Interface - Screen architecture, graphics, colors, fonts,
      function buttons, and icons have been transformed to improve ease of
      use, performance, and flexibility.

Sant's customers have the option to purchase an on-demand subscription or perpetual license of Sant Suite. Both delivery models include identical Sant Suite 8 product features and functionality.

    - Sant Suite On-Demand is fully hosted by The Sant Corporation and
      provides the required hardware, software, infrastructure, bandwidth,
      security, and other recommended services.  Sant Suite On-Demand is
      offered through a subscription-based licensing model.
    - Sant Suite On-Premise combines a traditional software license with an
      annual support & maintenance agreement.  Customers install Sant Suite on
      a web server within their corporate network and manage the necessary IT
      infrastructure.

Sant Suite 8 is the third major release from The Sant Corporation in the past three years. Miller reinforces Sant's commitment to delivering product enhancements on a recurring basis with customer participation.
