CollabraSpace Releases Enhanced Collaboration Solution, CollabraSuite 5.0, BEA Edition

CollabraSpace, a leading provider of web-based collaboration solutions for government and commercial enterprises, today announced the release of CollabraSuite 5.0 BEA Edition. This newest version, which is designed to complement BEA WebLogic Portal 9.2 and AquaLogic Interaction (ALI), includes updates that are designed to place more control in the hands of the end user to help them to configure their virtual work environments for real-time collaboration. Using the new CollabraSuite 5.0 BEA Edition, organizations can deploy a powerful, secure, real-time, open standards collaboration solution, including features such as presence awareness, instant messaging, shared whiteboard, audio/video and web conferencing and room locking.

The software has also been designed to integrate seamlessly with BEA AquaLogic Interaction (ALI), part of BEA's AquaLogic User Interaction family, the first portal suite built from the ground up to support both Java and .NET environments, helping give IT and line of business users a comprehensive and integrated set of products for building enterprise portals, collaborative communities and composite applications.

According to CollabraSpace president and CEO Ray Schwemmer, CollabraSuite 5.0 BEA Edition builds upon WebLogic Portal 9.2, the GroupSpace collaboration component and AquaLogic Interaction 6.1 component and is designed to provide a rich, real-time collaborative portal environment.
