Schematic Bolsters Multimedia Platforms Group

Schematic, a full-service interactive agency, today announced the addition of Flash platform thought leader and author, Joey Lott as a Senior Software Architect to strengthen its Multimedia Platforms Group. Lott will play a critical role in providing application design and technical leadership for Schematic’s industry leading Flash team and will be responsible for recruiting and guiding the newly opened New England office located in Boston.

Lott is an industry authority, having penned numerous books on the subject of Flash platform application development, including the Flash 8 Cookbook (O’Reilly, 2006); ActionScript 3.0 Cookbook (O’Reilly, 2006); Programming Flex 2 and the Flash 8 ActionScript Bible (Wiley, 2005). In addition, he has been a pundit at key events, including Flashforward, Flash in the Can (FITC) and Adobe MAX, and has provided corporate training and consulting for companies including Microsoft, Accenture and Disney.

Schematic’s Multimedia Platforms Group has demonstrated its extensive experience in providing industry leading development using advanced tools including Flex 2.0, ActionScript 3, Flash video and Flash Remoting to create groundbreaking projects. Schematic has developed Flash platform based applications, leveraging the technology to deliver new uses including innovative advertising delivery platforms, user generated content sites and streaming video players.
