NetOffice and Taliferro today announced a strategic alliance to
integrate iWord into Liferro's current offerings of 14 components that
manage daily business activities.
This mutually complementary
move between iNetOffice, makers of AJAX-enabled WYSIWYG editor iWord
and Liferro an Internet-based business management application suite
will create for both companies a larger footprint in the marketplace.
"Having
a Word type editor is huge," says Liferro creator, Showers. "This will
enable our subscribers to have a totally seamless office. Presently,
about the only reason to leave our suite of applications is to write
documents or perform spreadsheet actions. iWord eliminates one of those
barriers."
iWord is an AJAX-enabled word processor offering a
near-Word experience. iWord will allow Liferro users to easily publish
documents, e-mail and web pages inside Liferro.
Tom Snyder,
iNetOffice Founder and President, says, "Having iWord integrate with an
exciting product such as Liferro provides us with additional exposure
and entry into the SMB space. iWord will enable Liferro to broaden its
reach and goal of becoming the premiere business management
application."
"Liferro is a powerful tool already, but with
the addition of iWord, Liferro comes closer to an all-in-one solution,"
notes Showers. "Businesses already struggle with software not talking
to one another. This is a great step towards providing a complete
business solution."
