Imagine this: you are a top-notch JavaScript programmer, but you lack designer skills.  You can code the next best thing in AJAX web applications, mashups, or rich user interfaces, but you simply can't make it look good.  Or do you have the highest aesthetic sense and designer skills, but no programming experience? A new service comes to the rescue by connecting designers and programmers for collaboration on specific projects, or for full-time jobs.

ProgrammerMeetDesigner.com lists user-submitted offers and lists them online, while simultaneously providing RSS feeds.  The database of offers is fairly big and expanding.  The variety of offers spans across areas such as gaming, web development, and software.  The skillsets people look for cover all currently popular technologies: JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Flash, etc.

The site's mission is "...to unite programmers and designers because rarely is a person good at both programming and designing. PMD helps programmers and designers partner up to make websites and web applications that look and work great. It also lets entrepreneurs and writers find people to work with."
