The Adobe Acrobat and PDF Conference Will Include Session on JavaScript
JavaScriptSearch The conference includes informative sessions to enhance and customize Adobe
Acrobat using JavaScript, along with sessions for developers who need to
create plug-ins for the popular Adobe(R) Acrobat(R) and Adobe(R)
Reader(R) software. Representatives from Adobe Systems and experienced PDF developers and
programmers will be speaking at the conference. There are more than 25
informative sessions where attendees can receive guidance on PDF
development projects and discover new tools and techniques for
implementing PDF based solutions. Sessions covering PDF Accessibility,
PDF forms and routing forms data are also included in the conference
agenda. "PDF2006 provides the greatest opportunity to learn about PDF solutions in once single location. We have added and updated our content for developers and IT professionals to provide guidance and solutions for the corporate, government, and institutional users who are looking to implement PDF based solutions. We have in-depth sessions on review and markup, security, JavaScript within Acrobat, and developer tools," according to Christopher Smith, the director of content for the conference and the author of numerous books on Acrobat and PDF. At PDF2006 multiple PDF vendors will be showcasing solutions for developing PDF based document solutions including PDF creation, PDF forms and data management, PDF security, along with PDF standards validation and PDF editing. The conference includes sessions detailing tools for automating PDF creation, and opportunities to meet with senior technology representatives from more than one dozen PDF technology vendors including Adobe Systems, activePDF, artsPDF, and Global Graphics. "We're excited to have Rick Brown, the manager for all of Adobe's Acrobat products, providing a keynote address at the conference. Attendees can expect to learn more about Adobe's vision for the Acrobat product line now that the acquisition of Macromedia is complete," added Smith. PDF2006 includes two days of technology specific sessions combined with two additional days of pre and post conference training to meet the needs of software developers and IT professionals. The exhibit area features more than one dozen PDF technology vendors showcasing tools for working with and creating PDF files. The Adobe Acrobat and PDF Conference will be held May 17-18 at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida. Pre conference
sessions are May 16, and Post conference sessions are May 19.
