Anyone, willing to give the new Mozilla Firefox browser a test drive, is now free to do so by getting any of the following packages:

Windows EXE - firefox-2.0a1.en-US.win32.installer.exe
Windows ZIP - firefox-2.0a1.en-US.win32.zip
Mac - firefox-2.0a1.en-US.mac.dmg
Linux - firefox-2.0a1.en-US.linux-i686.installer.tar.gz
Linux - firefox-2.0a1.en-US.linux-i686.tar.gz

The alpha does not contain all of the functionality of the expected official version. It can contain bugs or crash your system. The current stable version of Firefox is 1.5.0.1.

UPDATE: This release is not an official alpha, although it was reported as such by various sources. It is on of the periodical builds with many bugs, meant for developers.
