Enhancements using standards-based Java technology enable the Bocada Enterprise Report Viewer to provide straightforward, secure access to reports via the web, making role-based information delivery to unique users across the corporation a reality. The new reporting also allows business users to easily generate, refresh, edit and manage their own reports via the web. Advanced security features ensure that reports are viewed only by those with the appropriate permission, whether internal users or customers.

Enhanced Features for Compliance Reporting

The challenge in most regulated organizations is not complying with the regulations; it is proving a history of complying or making a best effort to comply with them. New self-monitoring and alerting features in the latest version ensure that audit trails required for regulatory mandates are continuous and available by alerting IT staff when network outages or configuration changes interfere with updates to the system. Automated notification improves efficiency, reduces troubleshooting cycle time, and reduces the risk of non-compliance. In addition, notifications can be integrated into management frameworks including IBM Tivoli Event Center, HP OpenView, and others.
