FileWave Announces New Features, AJAX Web Interface in Asset Trustee

FileWave, provider of management software, announced the release of Asset Trustee 7.6. The new version enables users to meet the growing requirement imposed on asset and inventory management. Major new features include software usage reporting, scheduled report creation and automated reporting via email.

Asset Trustee 7.6 provides full support for both Mac OS X and Windows platforms and components. Automated tasks within the management system offer a scheduler interface for automating and emailing reports as well as scheduling and automating the importing of change data from client computers.

The new solution also offers increased security features by limiting data accessible by department, OS type, location and other user definable criteria and its improved web based user interface now uses Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) to provide a Web 2.0 experience.
