TagTooga.com,
a Web 2.0 social bookmarking and wiki directory site, launched a new
Flash mp3 button player that can be freely downloaded and incorporated
into websites and blogs. It provides the ability to automatically
transform each .mp3 hyperlink within a web page into an embedded Flash
player with a start/stop button.
"This software fills a much needed gap in the marketplace. People with
little or no technical experience can insert a simple snippet of
javascript code into any HTML page to add an embedded MP3 player." said
Matt Fausey, founder and CEO of Tortuga Group LLC. "There is no
software to download, nothing to purchase, and the visual footprint is
very small. It provides the ability to play music in a web page without
pop-up windows."
The mp3 player is customizable as well. A webmaster can replace the
start/stop button with his/her own button images. It is also possible
to customize the text size and font.
The mp3 button player is perfect for independent bands wishing to
provide mp3 samples of their music. "TagTooga is hoping to provide the
tools and services to help independent bands organize and share
music/video samples on the web. The MP3 button player is one tool that
adds to a growing number of free services offered at TagTooga." said
Fausey.
